Established in the late 1880s and incorporated in 1893, Havelock, Nebraska was soon home to a Burlington Railroad locomotive assembly and repair shop. In the 1920s the largest aircraft manufacturer in the world located there. Heavily illustrated with old photos, the book tells of the village’s growth and ultimate annexation by Lincoln. Walking tour by Ed Zimmer included.
